Currently based in South Australia, I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media with Honours at Flinders University, alongside CDW Studios. During my honours research, I wrote, developed, illustrated and self published my first comic book titled: No Man’s Land. This project also helped fuel my passion for screen printing, product design, marketing and in developing my brand.

First developed alongside her exegesis in 2018, Sheydin Dew has now written, developed and self published three comic books under the series title of No Man’s Land.
In 2019, Sheydin then went on to remaster her prologue chapter by improving her artistic choices and storytelling techniques. This then set her up to continue the series in 2020, with a more refined colour palette (a key stylistic feature in the series) which also gave focus to both the story and character development in the latest volume No Man’s Land 2.
No Man’s Land takes place in a fictional, small Australian town by the name of Windlyn, home to 6 divided “street skating” teams. When the eldest street skating team; The Queens, decide to leave, their turf is then nicknamed “No Man’s Land”, as the other teams then compete in a race to claim the territory as their own.
The story follows Gwen and her two best friends; Willow and Maisey, as they navigate the toxic rivalry and competitiveness in the race to win No Man’s Land!
